Service Description

A beautifully relaxed newborn experience captured in the comfort of your own home. This session is perfect for families with older children, or anyone who prefers a natural, lifestyle approach to newborn photography while still incorporating softly posed, timeless portraits of your baby. The session is thoughtfully designed to blend authentic in-home storytelling with gently styled newborn images. Approximately half of your session will focus on real-life moments in spaces such as the nursery, primary bedroom, or living room, while the other half includes softly posed newborn portraits using curated wraps, backdrops, and props provided by Rachel Good Photography. We will plan everything in advance to match your home’s natural light, aesthetic, and color palette, including wrap choices, backdrop tones, and prop styling tailored to your baby. This session is also a meaningful way to document the nursery you’ve lovingly created for your little one. --- Session Details * Up to 1.5 hours of session time * 30 hand-edited digital images (baby-only sessions) * Approximately 45 images when parents and/or siblings are included * Full print release (no logos or watermarks) * $150 print credit for use in your online gallery * A welcome gift from RGP * Immediate family only (parents and siblings; no extended family) * $350 non-refundable retainer (may be transferable in select cases) * Weekday sessions only * Weekend sessions available +$40 * Twin sessions +$100 --- Location & Travel To ensure safety, lighting control, and a smooth setup experience, sessions must take place in homes with driveway parking and adequate space for equipment. Travel within 20 miles is included. Additional travel is billed at $0.69 per mile (typically approximately $35 for locations about one hour from ZIP code 44028). --- ## Scheduling Your Newborn Session Because babies rarely arrive exactly on their due date, all newborn bookings are scheduled as tentative. Unless you have a planned induction or C-section, your session will be reserved for approximately one week after your due date. If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, your session will be adjusted accordingly. Please keep Rachel updated as your due date approaches so the timing can be perfectly planned.

If children are sick or an emergency comes up, please let us know asap 440-479-1861. What if I'm late? There is nothing Rachel hates more than tardiness! PLEASE be on time for your session! Please make sure you are at the session by your scheduled time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your session will need to be rescheduled for another date. NO EXCEPTIONS! if you do not notify Rachel of your lateness, she has the right to leave for her next appt., and you need to reschedule again online and pay the deposit. retainer { which will be applied to the session balance} Please do NOT come to the studio with a child who is sick or under the weather, it always ends up in less than great photo sessions. RGP allows you to reschedule your session up to 60 days for after the original booking scheduled date, after this time, your sessions retainers will be 100% forfeited.
