There are some sessions that stay with you long after they're over... and this was one of them.
This sweet family met me at the beach ready to laugh, play, and simply enjoy being together. There was no pressure to be perfect—just genuine smiles, little adventures, sandy toes, and the kind of joy that reminds me why I love what I do.
This image is one of my favorites from the evening. The excitement on his face as he stood at the edge of Lake Erie, watching the waves roll in, perfectly captures what childhood should feel like—carefree, adventurous, and full of wonder. These are the moments that can't be posed. They simply happen, and I'm so grateful to be there to preserve them.
Their session included 15 edited images, but once I started going through the gallery, I just couldn't narrow it down. Every photo told another piece of their story. Every laugh, every cuddle, every playful moment deserved to be remembered.
By the time I finished editing, their gallery had grown to 47 beautifully edited images. Sometimes a session is just that special. When families trust me to document these fleeting moments, and everything comes together so naturally, I want them to have every memory I can possibly give them.
Delivering moments that families will look back on years from now. One day, these tiny footprints in the sand will be much bigger, these carefree beach days will become cherished memories, and these photographs will bring them right back to this season of life.
