A “Berry” Sweet First Birthday Cake Smash | Miss T’s Milestone Session

There’s something so special about documenting a little one’s first birthday, and Miss T’s Berry First Birthday cake smash session was truly the cherry (or should I say strawberry!) on top! 🍓

This session was full of soft pinks, playful reds, and the most adorable strawberry-themed details. Miss T looked precious in her pink tutu and sparkly bow, perfectly styled for the occasion. Her custom “Berry First Birthday” onesie added the perfect personalized touch.

We started with a few sweet portraits before letting Miss T dive into her cake—and she did not disappoint! She was all smiles and curiosity, tasting the frosting, squishing it between her fingers, and enjoying every moment. These are the kinds of sessions that fill my heart with joy—watching little personalities shine and capturing memories that families will treasure forever.

The setup included oversized balloons, fresh greenery, twinkle lights, and plenty of strawberry accents to tie it all together. This is one of my favorite themes for summer birthdays—it’s bright, fun, and perfect for little ones.

Miss T was such a joy to photograph, and her cake smash was as sweet as can be. Thank you to her family for trusting me with such a special milestone!
