Colin’s Senior Session at Coe Lake | Strongsville High School Class of 2027

Something is exciting about senior year—it’s a season filled with new opportunities, big dreams, and the feeling that an entirely new chapter is just around the corner. It was such a pleasure capturing Colin’s senior portraits at beautiful Coe Lake in Berea, Ohio, as he celebrates his upcoming graduation with the Strongsville High School Class of 2027.

Coe Lake was the perfect setting for Colin’s senior session. The natural greenery, wooded surroundings, lake views, and charming bridges gave us plenty of variety while keeping the images relaxed and natural.

Colin brought a great mix of classic and casual looks to his session. His navy polo created a timeless, polished look against the deep green surroundings, while his white T-shirt and neutral shorts gave the second portion of his session a more laid-back, youthful feel. These different outfits allowed us to capture several sides of his personality while creating a gallery that feels cohesive and completely his own.

One of my favorite things about senior photography is being able to capture those in-between years—the person they are today while celebrating the person they are becoming. From the confident portraits on the bridge to the more relaxed images along the water, Colin’s session was full of genuine smiles and personality.

The wooded trails and lake at Coe Lake also provided gorgeous natural backdrops without taking attention away from Colin. I love using locations like this for senior portraits because they offer so many different looks within one session. We can move from architectural elements and bridges to open greenery and the peaceful water, creating a gallery with lots of variety.
