There’s nothing quite like celebrating a little one’s first birthday with a cake smash—and Hudson’s session was the perfect combination of sweet, playful, and football-inspired fun!
For Hudson’s birthday portraits, we started with some adorable football-themed photos before letting him get down to the real celebration: cake time! Surrounded by football details, a little wooden bench, balloons, and a football field-inspired backdrop, Hudson looked every bit like the cutest little MVP.
And then came the cake!
Hudson wasted no time digging into his football-themed birthday cake. Before long, those little hands—and feet—were covered in frosting, making for the kind of genuine, messy moments that make cake smash sessions so much fun. His curious expressions and determination to get every last bit of cake made these portraits especially memorable.
We also captured a few sweet milestone portraits of Hudson surrounded by soft blue and white balloons and sitting in an adorable little wooden car. These quieter images are such a wonderful contrast to the messy cake smash photos and help tell the whole story of this special age.
